This trip is for 18 days with a number of days allocated for sightseeing either side of the trek. The trek itself is 10 days.
Trek durations are flexible. For the super fit with only a few days to spare, some treks can be done quicker. For those that want to spend a little more time walking, some treks can be extended. Contact us to find out what options there are and what would be best for you and your travel plans.
Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive at Kathmandu International airport where your guide will meet you and take you by private bus to your hotel. In the evening enjoy a traditional evening meal at a local restaurant with your guide.
Day 2 Sightseeing in Kathmandu with your own local guide. See such sights as the famous Swayambhu Temple, Durbar Square or the Bagmati Ghats.
Day 3 Continue your sightseeing with a trip to Patan and the Boudhanath Stupa.
Day 4 Transfer to Kathmandu airport for the internal flight to Pokhara where your guide will be on hand to meet you and take you to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day relaxing or taking in the sights of Pokhara.
Day 5 Travel by private bus from your accommodation in Pokhara to Birethanti where the trek begins. Walk to Ulleri.
Day 6 Walk from Ulleri to Ghorepani.
Day 7 Walk from Ghorepani to Tadapani.
Day 8 Walk from Tadapani to Chomrong.
Day 9 Walk from Chomrong to Bamboo.
Day 10 Walk from Bamboo to Deurali.
Day 11 Walk from Deurali to reach our goal, Annapurna Base Camp.
Day 12 Walk from ABC to Sinuwa.
Day 13 Walk from Sinuwa to Jhinu stopping at a hot spring on the way.
Day 14 Finish the walk and travel by private bus back to Pokhara.
Day 15 Sightseeing day in Pokara.
Day 16 Early morning start to drive back to Kathmandu. On the way stop off at the village of Bandipur. Your driver will take you to your hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 17 Today you are free to relax at your hotel or explore Kathmandu at your leisure or to wander around the many gift shops and restaurants in Tamel.
Day 18 Our guide will pick you up from your hotel and transport you by private bus to the airport.
